Sinfonia, Smith Square – London.

Description – Burke Hunter Adams are delighted to announce our appointment as Quantity Surveyors on the refurbishment of Sinfonia Smith Square. The restoration and regeneration project, which is in part funded by a National Lottery Heritage grant, aims to see the building transformed into a world-class music venue.

Sinfonia Smith Square’s Doors Open project aims to repair the historic fabric of the building. The project will improve accessibility, expand facilities for players and guest artists and upgrade the venue’s lighting, sound, heating and ventilation systems. The project will also facilitate the installation of renewable energy technologies throughout the building in line with Sinfonia Smith Square’s ambition to become carbon neutral.

Sinfonia Smith Square represents a significant opportunity to enhance a nationally important heritage asset, ensuring it continues to operate as a world-class cultural venue.

Through careful alignment of cost, design, heritage considerations and funding requirements, the project is being developed to support long-term sustainability and continued use.
