New Inn Housing, Gidea Park, Romford

Overview – Burke Hunter Adams were the appointed quantity surveyor, contract administrator and project coordinator on this residential project in the East London suburb of Gidea Park. Constructed in the grounds of the New Inn pub in Gidea Park, this development of seven residential properties is built to high standards of sustainability.

In the Architect’s words, the project provides much needed family housing in a well-connected and increasingly desirable part of East London. The layout elegantly resolves the site’s trapezoidal geometry with two distinct terraces, providing a total of seven spacious 3-storey family dwellings, all with front and rear gardens and generous balconies on the upper levels.
